Teatro V!da Named Theater-in-Residence at the Bing Arts Center
Springfield, MA, 4.17.2017 Teatro V!da, Springfield, MA, is pleased to announce that it has been named Theater-in-Residence of the
Bing Arts Center located at 716 Sumner Avenue in Springfield’s Forest Park neighborhood. The Bing is a multi-use hub for
community cultural activity.
Teatro V!da, was officially co-founded and launched in 2007 by Magdalena Gómez, a life-long cultural worker, and the Latino Breakfast Club, at a ceremony and performance at the Springfield Museums. Teatro V!da has a long history with the Bing Arts Center, where Teatro V!da youth have produced and hosted a monthly open mic series since 2012, Ign!te the M!c.
